Rogue Pick & Ban
At the beginning of each map, the hosting team will have the first pick on which Rogue to ban. You can discuss these bans with your opponents inside your EGG match chat unless the game mode already allows.

Hosting
In the event it is an NA vs EU match, the NA team must host with an NAE player. We want to keep these events as fair as possible, so keeping ping to a minimum is a big must.

  1. In a best of 3, the team which wins with the higher number of kill difference will host match 3.

No Show

TICKET SUPPORT:
  1. Teams have 10 minutes from the scheduled match start time to join/host the match. Failure to do so could result in a forfeit. Teams have 5 minutes in between maps to join/invite.
  2. If your opponent has not joined/invited within the allotted 10 minutes, you must submit video proof of at least 5 minutes of the 10 minutes you spent waiting for them to join/invite. This means we need video proof from 5 minutes after the match start time until 10 minutes after the match start time.
  3. Please include attempts to invite/join in this video proof. Timestamps (evidence of current time in the video) are required to authenticate the proof of the no show.
  4. In the event of a match that needs to have more than one game played, you will need to record a 5-minute video for each individual game. If your opponents forfeit match 1, you are still required to play match two or provide video proof from 10 minutes after the match start time until 20 minutes after the match start time to show that they also forfeited match two.
  5. The best proof overall is considered to be full live stream video from your channel.

Reporting

TICKET SUPPORT:
In the case of a dispute, teams must submit a ticket to [email protected] with valid proof of their claims. If a team does not submit a ticket within 8 hours of the match being disputed, they are risking receiving the loss for the match. If a ticket is submitted late or not submitted at all, the match outcome will not be overturned.

Tickets are handled in the order they are received. Elite tickets are processed with Priority. Live support will be unable to resolve or give outcomes on ticket supported matches.

LIVE SUPPORT / TOURNAMENTS:
Live support will be available to assist with finalizing, dispute resolution, and forfeiture calls for all matches made with Live Support enabled. Please ensure that you are requesting an admin via your match chat.

ADDITIONAL:
It is the responsibility of all teams involved in a match to report scores at the completion of their match. Teams must report the match within 2 hours of completion. If a team reports within 2 hours and the opposing team fails to do so, the outcome will be determined by the reporting team. The match outcome will not be overturned if your team fails to report under any circumstances.
When you join a team you are giving your full consent for the leader to take actions on your behalf. If the leader for whatever reason disbands/reports your loss CMG is not liable and the match will not be overturned.
If you report the match early without it being played out, you risk the match being cancelled if the opponent fails to show. Do NOT report early under any circumstances. Reporting early is not a forfeitable offense.

Lag/Disconnections/Glitches

TICKET SUPPORT:
LAG:
If an individual user begins to lag you will be required to play out the match in full.
If the entire lobby is lagging you must surrender immediately at the start of the next round.
Proof of lag from more than one member’s perspective must be submitted in a match dispute ticket so long as the match is larger than a 1v1 to ensure it is the host’s connection and not the individual player’s connection.
All rounds played up until the surrender will be counted at the admin’s discretion.

DISCONNECT:
If a disconnect occurs the player should attempt to rejoin immediately. If the player is unable to rejoin please complete the following;
If a disconnect occurs in the first half, you must play it out until teams switch sides. The game then must be ended (one team surrenders) and resumed on the different sides.
If a player disconnects after halftime then your team will need to finish out the match with the players still in the game.

Liability

Militia Gaming League (MGL) is not liable to members that cannot make it to their match on time for ANY reason. It is the sole responsibility of each member to play their match on time. Issues include, but are not limited to; issues with game updates, server outages, network connection, power outages, online subscription deactivation, or emergencies. For all issues please email [email protected]

Players/Streams

Stream requirements

All players must stream.
Please ensure a delay is activated so there is no chance your team can be stream sniped.

Each team needs to get the opposing teams PC players stream links before the match starts. You can gather this information by viewing the tournament player stream tab in the discord OR you can request it in your match chat if they do not have any streams posted.

It is at the admins discretion to issue screen cams if there are suspicions of hacks.

Enabling Past Broadcasts:

For any assistance in enabling your past broadcast, you may refer to this article https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/video-on-demand

Your past broadcasts MUST be enabled up to 24 hours after the match is concluded to combat any hacking accusations that are made.

If your past broadcasts are not enabled and an admin is not able to find your gameplay from your match easily then you will be forfeited from the match with no questions asked. This is a zero-tolerance policy and at the admin’s discretion whether or not you will be forfeited.

Cheating:

Here at MGL we have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone who is cheating/hacking. If we find, in your stream or VOD, that you are using a 3rd party software/device to cheat/hack you will be permanently banned from the platform.

Admins may require additional proof from any user who we may suspect is hacking. Failure to provide additional proof to an admin may result in a ban/forfeit on your match.

Live Support Matches:

If the opposing team cannot provide stream proof before the match start time you will need to treat it like a no show. You can contact an admin through the appropriate discord server/channel.
Any matches played out in full will count regardless if it was streamed or not. It is each team’s responsibility to ensure your teams players are streaming with VODs enabled and also to ensure the opposing teams PC players are streaming with VODs enabled.
If the match is started and you play out rounds without confirming the opposing teams players are streaming, those rounds will count – No forfeits will occur. If you leave mid-match, you must treat the game as a no show.
It is at the admins discretion to issue a time period for streams to be set up.
